Kanye West’s latest album, Graduation arrived with much hype after the success of his two former ground-breaking albums, “College Dropout” and “Late Registration.” In fact, Graduation is probably one of the most well-hyped albums of 2007 as well as “Curtis” by 50 Cent. The dispute between these two artists probably helped to boost sales for both men. Kanye West produced the majority of the album, in addition to DJ Toomp, DJ Premier and Jon Brion. Graduation also features artists such as Young Jeezy, John Mayer, Lil Wayne, Mos Def, Dwele, T-Pain and Chris Martin. The first released track “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” followed by “Stronger” give listeners a glimpse of what is to come. “Good Life” was the third track released from the album, and it featured T-Pain and very strong lyrics. Ironically, the song quotes 50 Cent and it’s a definite hit. Another great track is “Big Brother” where Kanye discusses his relationship with Jay Z. Although Kanye’s claim of Graduation joining the ranks of the Top 10 rap albums ever may be a bit overzealous, you won’t be disappointed with this album.
